I have recently been doing a lot of sketching at home and have been roughing out comics iv'e been wanting to do for a while now. I will probably post them soon and then follow with the finalized drawings and so on and so forth, but for now I will show you two of the pieces I have hanging at Chris's Jazz bar in center city. I saw the guy with the flute one day while I was on my way to work, I was already late and maybe a little over a mile and a half away from my job when I saw this guy playing the flute on the street. I had my camera on me and just knew I had to get a picture of him. I stopped, threw a dollar in his case and started taking pictures. As soon as I took the first picture (what'ya know the damn memory card was full) as I franticly scrambled to delete some pics so I could continue shooting the guy just continued playing right in front of me. It was pretty cool and it was worth showing up late for work.
